For 2.2. Host System Requirements:

sudo apt-get install bison gawk gcc g++ m4 make texinfo
sudo ln -sf bash /bin/sh

For 2.6. Setting The $LFS Variable:

Use .profile rather than .bash_profile, so:

~/.profile/ & /root/.profile
